Just another update on what’s up…

Universal Language 010 has recieved massive support – so thank you to everyone that has downloaded it.  Disc 2 is by far the more popular with 1072 downloads in the first week, and Disc 1 getting 840 downloads.

I thought I'd write another blog entry just to say what's been happening.  Adding more info to the website is still on the cards, and I really want to get all my 200SX technical articles up and published.  I've also got a few more things that need to be finished on the website (as you can see), but I have full intentions of getting everything done in the very near future.

I've also started plans for a "big finale" to the Bedroom Sessions series of albums.  The Bedroom Sessions mix compilation is where it all started back in 1999.  However since last year, when I started the Universal Language series – I have focused most of my energy here.  I thought hard about retiring the "Bedroom Sessions" label – and I think ending it with a 10th album to the name is the way to go out.  At this point in time I have penciled in plans for a 4CD mix compilation, but we'll see how this pans out.  It might even get to 6 CD's – so as you can imagine this is a big project.

By wrapping up the BS series, it'll allow me to focus on top quality sets each month under the Universal Language banner, and I plan to expand this series with more special guest mixes with DJ's from around the world, and more 2hr sets.

So that's what's been happening.  Stay tuned for more UL's and don't forget you can vote for me every month at TheDJList by clicking this link: http://www.thedjlist.com/vote/?djName=DreamensioN

DreamensioN presents Universal Language 010

I thought hard about what to do to "celebrate" a 10th edition of Universal Language. What would make a mark and stand out from the rest? What would everyone like to hear? etc. The idea of a double CD mix came to mind. I briefly thought of doing the "Bedroom Sessions" format of a slower CD, and a faster CD. Then an idea came "Why not mix different styles instead?"

So with that, I mixed a progressive house CD and a trance CD. The prog house mix isn't "true" prog house. It has some house tracks, it has some trance tracks, it has some prog house tracks – but to loosely categorize it, I've called it "progressive house".

The trance mix is awesome too. To be honest, I can't really decide between the 2 CD's I enjoyed more. If you like your "housey" beats, and a few different styles – then CD1 is ftw. If you want some pretty sweet trance and a couple of classic tracks thrown into the the mix…then CD2 is for you.

Or…just download both tongue.gif

CD1 features a brilliant new mashup by Xijaro, new tracks by Dirty South, Team SR, 16-bit Lolitas and The Doppler Effect. It also features remixes of Nelly Furtado, Iio, Keenan & Dale Anderson and Andrew Bennett.

CD2 kicks off with another mashup by Solid Syn (aka: SolidBase), and also features new tracks by Dogilla, Cerf Mitiska and Jaren, Kamil Polner and Forerunners. It also features a brand new promo track by Loverush UK.

So check out Universal Language 010, and don't forget you can give me a vote this month @ TheDJList: http://www.thedjlist.com/vote/?djName=DreamensioN
