Another year has gone by, and Afterhours.FM saw out 2008 in true style. From Decemeber 19th 2008 until January 1st 2009, 300 of the worlds biggest DJ’s contributed their 1hr sets for what has become known as the “End Of Year Countdown”. This world record event rocked internet streams, and had over 500,000 posts by forum members. Never before had there been such a massive online dance music event.
A huge debt of gratitude goes out to EVERYONE that made this event possible. From the AH.FM staff, right through to the DJ’s and record labels that donated their promo sets. For a full line up of DJ’s that participated in this event, check out the promo e-flyer here.

January 2009 marked the 20th installment of the Universal Language series. To mark this special occasion I invited DJ Abstraction to work with me on a collaborative album.
The result is a double CD mix that presents a contrast of styles and sounds.
DJ Abstraction demonstrates his passion for progressive music in this non-stop mix. His beautiful set starts out with the popular sounds of house, and over the next 80 minutes, transports you through progressive house and finishes with the energetic sounds of trance. It really is a journey through music.
Disc 2 of the album (mixed by me), continues the trance theme established by DJ Abstraction. I’ve lined up an array of vocal and melodic trance tracks, packed with energy and uplifting sounds. This set catapults you forward to a flying finish.
A very special thanks goes to DJ Abstraction for his work on Disc 1, and for doing the incredible CD cover artwork included. A special thanks also goes once again to Marcie for her promo track “No One” used in Disc 2.
