Happy Valentines Day!
My gf is overseas at the moment somewhere on the west coast of the USA. So I’m home alone this valentines day. To kill the bordeom, I started playing around with some tracks, and I found two old favourites of mine. Then a thought came to me…why not mash them together. So I did. And here it is.

This month on Afterhours.FM I present Universal Language 021. This special edition 90min mix, blends some of the most melodic and balaeric tracks of today. Enjoy the down tempo smooth sounds as you chill out and relax to this set.
The mix starts out with an amazing remix by Hybrid, followed by the beautiful sounds of Armin van Burren feat. Jaren. We then progress through a couple of melodic non-vocal tracks before landing in one of the best remixes of “The Longest Road” by Deadmau5. Ronski Speed’s track Revolving Doors has an unmistakeable bassline, and then we pick things up a notch with a track by Deralict. Taxigirl (featuring the vocals of Jes) blends in at full tilt with the beautiful song “High Glow”.
Another male vocal track gets put into the mix with “Off The World”, and then we revisit a classic I used in Bedroom Sessoins 7 – “The Beauty And the Beast.” To this day I still can’t work out what the subtle vocals are in that track, but I suspect it’s a sample of Marlon Brando from the Godfather movie. From here we visit one of my favourite record labels – Coldharbour (owned by Markus Schulz). Two Coldharbour tracks get dropped, and we listen to a great remix of a sure-to-be-classic by Mike Foyle.
The last track of the mix is a beautiful track by Andy Moor. This time its the Blizzard remix. I used the “Ecomix” version of this in Universal Language 020. This time the Blizzard remix gets a little rework as an outtro edit, hopefully leaving you with the echoing sounds of the beautiful strings and vocals of this track.
